Our Goals

  • Promote the visual arts for all members of our community through exhibitions, events and education
  • Encourage an appreciation and awareness of visual arts in our community.
  • Support the concept of an “arts community” in the area.

What We Do

As a group that is passionate about promoting, encouraging and supporting all realms of the visual arts, we take an active approach in reaching those goals.

We as Mountain Artists promote the visual arts through the annual Mountain Arts Festival, the annual Holiday Member’s Art Show & Sale, our various locations of Mountain Artists exhibits.

We as Mountain Artists encourage the visual arts through the annual Teller County Student Art Show, the Summer Teen Art Workshop, Youth Scholarships, additional workshops, visits to museums and galleries, and other related events.

We as Mountain Artists support the concept of an “arts community” through the cultivation of art appreciation within our community. Not only through our own exhibitions, events and education but also through our support of other forms of art expression within our community.

Our Meetings

Mountain artists meet the 2nd Saturday of each month at 9:00 AM downstairs at the Ute Pass Cultural Center in Woodland Park, CO.

Membership is $25 for an individual and $35 for family. We welcome new members!
